2009. Halley's August 26 performance was listed in the Washington Post Weekend
section as one of the best free Washington, DC area events in August.
May 2009. Halley was featured on clarinet when the Tom Cunningham Orchestra celebrated the Benny Goodman's 100th Birthday.
March 2009. The Halley Shoenberg Jazz Octet performed for an Arlington, VA public television program showcasing several of Halley's jazz octet arrangements and original compositions.
May 2008. Halley performed on clarinet and saxophone with traditional jazz band "Big Bertha's Rhythm Kings" at Bertha's Restaurant in Baltimore.
February 2008. The Halley Shoenberg Jazz Trio performed a concert for Inwood Coffeehouse. Performers included Halley Shoenberg (clarinet/saxophone), Geoff Reecer (guitar) and Peter Revell (bass).
January 2008. Halley was featured on clarinet when the Tom Cunningham Orchestra celebrated the 70th anniversary of Benny Goodman's famous Carnegie Hall Concert.
December 2007. Halley performed with vocal trio YazooZazz and other members of the Tom Cunningham Orchestra at the Boswell Sisters Centennial celebration in New Orleans.
July 2007. Halley was the featured clarinetist for Artie Shaw night with the Tom Cunningham Orchestra at the Glen Echo Spanish Ballroom.
July 2007. The Halley Shoenberg Jazz Sextet performed for the Silver Spring Swings concert series July 26, 7:00-9:00 PM at Silver Plaza in downtown Silver Spring, MD. The group included Halley Shoenberg (clarinet and saxophone), Brett Lemley (Trumpet), Chip Bubeck (vibraphone), Geoff Reecer (guitar), Jonathan Steele (bass) and Dominic Smith (drums). They performed a variety of jazz, standards, and some of Halley's original compositions and arrangements. It was a nice evening and a big party in Silver Spring!
