Halley Shoenberg's Revival Jazz Band is Halley's newest group and the band performed for the roaring 20's dance at Glen Echo Spanish Ballroom November 3, 2018. Their most recent performance was March 16, 2019 at Glen Echo hosted by Flying Feet Enterprises. The 11 to 14-piece Jazz Age ensemble is made up of some of the finest Washington, DC area musicians. For nine years Halley played Glen Echo Sunday tea dances with the La Salle Dance Orchestra, which focused on 1920's and 30's ballroom dance music. Halley acquired the music from that band to perform with her own band. She also learned to dance the dances such as Lindy Hop, Charleston, Blues, Salsa and Tango and likes to dance during band breaks or go out for an evening of dancing to other bands. Come out - hear and dance for yourself!
